Established in 1989, Wind-O-Wash began as a small but dynamic window cleaning company situated in Ottery, Cape Town. In the intervening years it has grown and improved its services.
We offer comprehensive and specialised cleaning services for commercial, domestic and industrial properties throughout the greater Cape Town area including Somerset West, the Winelands and Bloubergstrand. The service includes window cleaning, high cleaning, gutter cleaning, solar panel cleaning and aluminium restoration. The teams are intensively trained in health and safety and the cleaning is facilitated using ladder access, rope-access and the water-fed pole system.
We have recently expanded our operations and the Wind-O-Wash Overberg office, centrally situated in Hermanus, has now been in operation for over 14 years and services the Overberg region stretching from Rooi Els to Pearly Beach, including Botrivier and Caledon. Over the past two years they have been able to secure prestigious contracts including Hermanus Golf Club, Huis Lettie Theron, Marine Court and many domestic properties.

Wind-O-Wash is a Close Corporation and its two members Nicky Eckstein, and Siyabonga Rorwana have more than 60 years of experience between them in the high-level window cleaning industry. We promote from within and have trained ten members of staff to become supervisors, which included passing their driving test to become drivers and stringent training in the fields of safety and supervisory skills.
Nicky is the proud owner of Wind-O-Wash, which she co-founded with her mother, Jill, in 1989. With 36 years of experience, Nicky has grown the company into a trusted name, known for its professionalism, reliability, and quality service. She has built lasting relationships with clients, many of whom have remained loyal customers for decades.
Nicky’s dedication to quality service, attention to detail, and deep commitment to her business and staff has made her an amazing small business owner! We are very lucky to have Nicky as our founder.
Siyabonga joined Wind-O-Wash as a window cleaner in 1998. His enthusiasm and attention to detail was soon noticed and he was promoted to assistant supervisor. We encouraged him to pass his learner's license and assisted him to get his driver's license and he was promoted to team supervisor.
From there, his unfailing dedication to his work, integrity, enthusiasm and amazing problem solving skills, led him to becoming an operations manager and today he is Nicky's business partner and a director at Wind-O-Wash.
Portia has been keeping things running smoothly at Wind-O-Wash for over 17 years! As our Office manager. Portia is highly committed and plays a key role overseeing our W-O-W team, organising schedules, handling customer care, and making sure the teams have everything they need to shine (literally).

As both a hands-on Supervisor and one of the company’s Operations Managers, he’s a go-to problem solver who keeps the Wind-O-Wash teams running like a well-oiled machine. Fabian’s not your average manager – he’s out with team and a squeegee in hand, leading by example.
